Islamic Design Geometric Porcelain Framed Tile
This porcelain tile based on a design from Islamic geometry has been made from a plaster mould, hand carved by Fiona Wilcock. It has been fired and glazed and set in a box frame to highlight the colour and texture.
Black Carved Plate
This stoneware plate is covered with black slip (liquid clay), left to dry for a while before the design is carved out with a sharp too. This is called sgraffito.
It has been glazed and the plate is both dishwasher and microwave proof.
